Hello everyone! Blame it on my thirst for knowledge/lack of attention/need for movement, but I always have several books partially read simultaneously. Currently, I have 2 audiobooks plus a physical book. What book(s) are you reading right now?

Hello Stranger
I just finished listening to Hello Stranger by Katherine Center. This story is about a portrait artist who loses the ability to see faces. It sounded a little far-fetched, but turns out it’s a real condition called face blindness. Quite fascinating. One of the quotes I loved from this book…”Our thoughts create our emotions.”
Terrace Story
For a quick read, try Terrace Story by Hillary Leichter. This one is an interesting story about a imaginary terrace and the interactions of those who visit. “How odd the world felt at night. A lodge between what had happened and whatever happened next.” This was not one of my favorites, but a different style than I typically read.
After the Party
I recently finished After the Party by Lisa Jewel. I’ve read and/or listened to several of her books and mostly enjoyed them. This one was just ok. She has a way of making you think something is going to happen in a certain way, but what actually happens is entirely different. I do appreciate that aspect of her writing.
